Air show

I have had a fab Sunday spent at the Southport Airshow. The weather wasn't great but the aircraft more than made up for the cloud. We made the very sensible decision to park at Wigan and get the train to Southport as I had read online that the traffic would be horrendous and by the looks of it, it was. The last time I visited Southport I would have been about 10 or 11 so I didn't have much memory of the place and, to be honest, I was in such a rush to get to the air show that I didn't see much of it yesterday. I will be visiting again though as  I like visiting new places and having a nosey! Here are some photos and a shaky video of my favourite aeroplane, The Vulcan

As for this weeks crafty endeavours? Well I must admit I haven't got much done. I have managed to list just one bracelet.. that is awful isn't it?  I wish listing could be as fun as making!

Click on the photo to be taken to it :) It was the first time I used photofuse to get a really crisp, white background. I haven't quite got the hang of it yet but I think it does make things look a bit better.

Have a great Handmade Monday!

  3. The charm bracelet is lovely - yup, listing is so boring compared to making. The airshow looked fun.

  4. Last week I was lucky to see the Vulcan on 2 separate occasions, both times it flew over my house when I was outside so had a great view, no camera to hand which is a shame.
I used to live not too far from Southport and used to go for day's out, always had a great time.

  5. Wow some fantastic snap shots there. Sounds like it was fun. Never been to an air show but it's on the list.

Still trying to get that crisp white backing in my photos but I do love the way it sets jewellery off.

  6. Great pics, Harriet, we missed out on Duxford this year as something else had already been arranged. Your bracelet is lovely. Hope you have a good week.
