My first Etsy Treasury.

I have been making the most of these gorgeous sunny days (oh I hope they last!) and have been sat in the garden. I was surprised to see how many ladybirds are out and about and this has inspired me when I put together my first Etsy treasury... Ladybird Invasion! I really enjoyed choosing different items, there are some really gorgeous things on Etsy. Here are the items I picked, just click on the photo to be taken to the shop. I have been trying to figure out how to put photos side by side for ages and I think I have just about worked it out. Yey!!

Have had a busy few weeks, we finally had central heating put in (just in time for Summer! ) and it has pretty much turned the house upside down! I didn't realise how much work goes into having it installed, the carpet had to be pulled back and some floor boards taken up, there is stuff (even now!) everywhere, and boxes to be unpacked.It's fantastic though, getting up in the morning and being toasty warm and being able to have hot water whenever it is needed is bliss. The old hot water boiler has been taken out of my bedroom and I now have a huge cupboard that is just asking to be filled with crafty stuff! Any excuse eh? :D

I've joined Etsy, I'm not sure I will open a shop (not yet anyway- there is a lot of stuff getting in the way, more on that next time) but I missed the social side of Folksy, after the changes I sort of lost heart with it and gave up for a while. But I have missed the listing club and Folksy Friday, I have especially have missed making posts about items that I like.. so I have decided to give some attention to Etsy. I'm still pretty lost with it, I've been reading about treasuries and circles and teams but think I will get there in the end, I've already joined Crafty Folk which has a daily listing club.. yey!

Fresh Air

It has been a bit nippy today, I hope it isn't a sign that winter is going to be making a comeback, I saw snow on the forecast, not for where I live but still a sign that the temperature has taken a downward turn.. hopefully it will just be a blip after the lovely weather we had last week.

I took full advantage of the gorgeous sun and spent a few hours just pottering around the garden just loving the brightness and warmth on my skin. I couldn't resist taking a few photos of the things that caught my eye... just look at this sky.. how blue and gorgeous it is and the vivid green against it, even the bare tree has a beauty about it, it won't be long and the branches will be covered in leaves.

 It felt so good being outside, just breathing in the fresh air. :D













I found some signs of Spring while having a wander
around the garden. I love how purple these crocus

 are.

I found these two hiding among the clematis.. don't they look cosy?
