Fused Glass Cabs

It's Handmade Monday time!

I haven't been up to much this week, the weather has been a bit rubbish and that tends to keep me in, it's such a waste really, I should just go out and wrap up. Still, that is something I will try and do this week.. if it doesn't rain... or it's not too cold... or cloudy... tut!

I was in the mood to made something glassy this week and ended up making some cabochons, they aren't perfect( not quite round and some of the dichroic glass is showing through the sides)  but I am thinking of selling them on Etsy and listing them as such. What do you think? I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to selling things that it is a bit different for me to list something not 100%

Here are the sets I have made..

I am a bit achy today, it was my last lesson at archery yesterday and they had a tournament, now I didn't win, but  I have vastly improved from the first week ( I even got a gold (bullseye!) ) I would definitely like to  keep going with it and join the club, now I can see I am improving it has become even more fun.

Have a great Monday and week!

A bit of brightness on a dull Tuesday afternoon

Zzzz... what a dull afternoon, it is making me sleepy and tempting me to just go to bed and curl up with a hot water bottle. It's cold, cloudy and windy. I'm not keen on days like this, I don't mind the cold (well not too much) or the wind but the cloud is so miserable. I much prefer the frosty, yet sunny, days. Still, the Spring signs are showing, in my greenhouse I have pots full of sweet peas and edible peas sprouting and the red onions I planted last month are starting to grow.

There is one thing I love about Winter and that is Christmas. I don't really like that it is advertised so early ( I think to much of a good thing ruins it) but I when I sat down to make the Crafty Folk Featured Seller treasury I was inspired to make a Christmas themed one. Plus it has brightened a dull day seeing all those sparkly things!

This week's featured seller is GreenStreetMosaics

Bonfire night

Happy Bonfire night! I am sat here listening to the fireworks, I had a look to see where they were coming from but I couldn't see them. Never mind though, it means I can stay warm watching Emmerdale and writing my blog :) I normally make an effort for bonfire night, perhaps buy a few fireworks or go to a display but this year I haven't gotten round to doing anything, I do have a single sparkler that was left over from last year, I might have to light that. I know how to have a good time don't I !?

It's Handmade Monday and a chance to tell you all what I have been up to crafty wise. Well, I have had 3 online sales and 3 offline sales since I last blogged for Handmade Monday. It gave me a much needed boost and made me think that I should keep plodding on! There are now 35 members of the The Promotion Club but there doesn't seem to be much activity. I have threads for treasury games and facebook shares but they don't seem to be getting much attention, I'm not really sure where I am going wrong. I have mentioned it a few times on my Facebook Page but still not much activity. Still, it hasn't been long and I need to be patient!

I have listed a few new things and had a few renews, all the photos are links to my shop :)

Have a great Monday!

Part of The Promotion Club Treasury Inspiration thread. For any Etsians reading, if you would like one of your items made into a treasury, all you have to do is make a treasury using one of the items already posted as inspiration, post a link to it and then post an item from your shop that you would like to be used in the Treasury Inspiration Thread.
